Visa Requirements: Visas are not required if you are a tourist staying less than 30 days and are a national/passport holder of one of 40 specified countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Entry Requirements: All visitors to Thailand must carry a valid passport with proof of continued passage (either a return or through ticket). Passports for passengers who are visa exempt should be valid for 6 months beyond period of intended stay. Passports for visa required passengers must be valid for 6 months beyond Visa application. Entry and departure must be through one of the four major airports located in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket or Hat Yai. If you wish to enter Thailand through any other port of entry, you should consult with the Royal Thai Consulate or Royal Thai Embassy regarding entry via an “exotic port”
